Smyrna, Delaware – Painted Stave Distilling, Blue Earl Brewing Company and Smyrna’s newest attraction Brick Works Brewing & Eats are teaming up with the Delaware Brew Bus to bring you Smyrna’s first ever Craft Crawl on Saturday, July 23 from 4 PM – 9 PM.
Transportation between locations will be FREE & provided by Delaware Brew Bus. The bus will be driving a continuous loop so participants can hop on and off at their own pace. Blue Earl will have live music by Gary Cogdell & The Complainers.
To kick off the Craft Crawl weekend, Painted Stave will be releasing their 3rd batch of Delaware’s inaugural bourbon, Diamond State Bourbon Whiskey on Friday, July 22 at 4:00pm.
Painted Stave Distilling opened as Delaware’s first stand-alone craft distillery in November 2013. They are housed in a restored 1940’s era movie theater where they produce award winning spirits including Candy Manor Gin, Silver Screen Vodka, Off The Hoof Scrapple Vodka, and Time Warp Espresso Vodka as well as numerous experimental whiskeys, gins, and brandies. Blue Earl Brewing Co. was the seventh brewery to open doors in Delaware in May of 2015. The 11,535-square-foot facility has 12 taps and 20 barrels where they produce their signature hoppy American Ales, Belgian specialties, German ale and lager, as well as a wide variety of seasonal offerings throughout the year. Brickworks Brewing, a partnership between award-winning restaurateur Kevin Reading of Abbott’s Grill and the folks at Mispillion River Brewing, recently opened last month.
