Smyrna, Delaware – Painted Stave Distilling—a small batch distillery producing premium, craft spirits—has announced plans of expanding distribution into Maryland and Washington, D.C. beginning June 2015. This will be the first time their complete line of mainstay spirits will be available to consumers outside of the distillery’s home state of Delaware.
Painted Stave Distilling has chosen to partner with Baltimore-based Washburn Wine Company, a boutique distributor of fine wines, beers and spirits. Washburn Wine Co. will be carrying the distillery’s Silver Screen Vodka, Candy Manor Gin, Old Cooch’s Corn Whiskey, Scarlett Cranberry Flavored Vodka, Off the Hoof Scrapple Flavored Vodka and Time Warp Espresso Flavored Vodka. The spirits will be made available for both on- and off-premise locations.
“We are very excited to have the opportunity to introduce Painted Stave Distilling into the Maryland/DC area. We are confident that our consumers will appreciate and be excited about these truly craft-made spirits that incorporate the best local ingredients.” Tom Washburn, owner of Washburn Wine Company.
New products including a Barley Whiskey, Harvest Grappa, and SpRy (Spelt and Rye) Whiskey are on track to launch this year. Seasonal spirits and special releases, such as the Scarlett Cranberry flavored Vodka, will continue to release periodically. A Bourbon and Rye are scheduled to become available in 2016.
