a limited release gin

Clockwork Gin is the next in our Craft Brewer series of spirits distilled from local craft beer.  This gin started life as 4,000 bottles of Clockwork Orange IPA from Blue Earl Brewing Company.  The bottles of beer were emptied into tanks by some of our awesome volunteers, and when the beer was distilled it brought forward the lovely taste and aroma of hops and orange.  The spirit was then infused with Juniper Berries, Orange Peel, Honeysuckle, Elderflower, Ginger, and Coriander and redistilled to craft a dry gin with pronounced Juniper and Orange flavors.  Bottled at 92 Proof, there are only 140 bottles available in 750ml size.  This gin will likely never be made again, and you can claim yours for pick-up here!

This is the first Experimental Gin release from Painted Stave in a number of years, and the first to use beer as the base alcohol.  Painted Stave's Craft Brewer series has included partnerships with Fordham and Dominion Brewing Company, Mispillion River Brewing Company, Stewarts Brewing Company, Blue Earl Brewing Company, Wilmington Brew Works, and Midnight Oil Brewing Company.  Each of these products is a very limited release, many one time only, and each is designed to reflect the skill of the brewer and distiller in crafting a unique spirit for our fans to enjoy.
